Roll-call! Who shall be attending http://www.convergence13.com in Portland, Oregon next week? I shall be flying in on Thursday afternoon, and am staying in town until Monday morning. Nathaniel Johnstone of Abney Park, Magpie of Steampunk Magazine, several of our cohorts from the San Francisco area, et cetera will be meeting up at some point to throw a hafla (belly dance party) and busk on a street corner if at all possible. In addition, I will be representing Steampunk Magazine at the event and I would love to shoot pictures of and talk with steampunks attending the event. Please tip your hat if you see me at the event. I have bright red hair and will likely be having issues containing my glee.  Cheers. -libby- |

I shall be attending, arriving Thursday afternoon, departing Monday, I believe. I hope to be adequately costumed, depending on how fast my little fingers can sew! I'd love to catch up with anyone who'd like to be social at the event.

Unfortunately I had not the funds to attend, but if there is a get together outside of the events, I would love to attend that.

Sorry, folks... I would love to attend, but I simply cannot. The whole family is going to california, and I must perform inspections and maintenance on everyone'e vehicles prior. Perhaps next year!

Grace I belive I saw you at the market today, and I must say that that dress was stunning! Unfortently I wasn't wearing anything steampunk at all, I was in a grey T and jeans if any of you saw me.
Is there still anything happening outside of the laminate only events?

Ok, so I'm still only recovering from the weekend ... but damn, Convergence was a lot of fun! I'm pretty sure I met some folks from here but for the life of me I can't remember all the names to go with the faces. Do please help me out! Who else was there?
