Hello  Smiley

Might I be able to interested you in a picnic in July?

The Kensal Green Cemetery Open Day (Saturday the fifth of July) two of the greatest engineers ever were laid to rest there, Isambard Kingdom Brunel (1806-1859) and his Father Sir Marc Isambard Brunel (1769-1849)

Kensal Green also has 140 Grade 1 and 2 Listed buildings / monuments, for those of you interested in architecture. There are tours round the grounds, and down into the catacombs, the vintage hearse show, assorted  stalls, my personal favourite is the handmade preserves and cakes, Oh and you can get a very nice cup of tea, hope you'll join me  Smiley

There's still enough Goth in me to jump at the chance to tour the catacombs et al! Thanks for letting us know, I shall certainly look into the feasibility of getting there.

Thank you for posting this, my better half has a thing for wandering around cemeteries so I will consult with her, but I would love to go, in suitable attire of course.
