!!! AAAAAH I cant believe I forgot to serrate it! I might have him later build a shipwright on an island nearby, and have add-ons like that for his ship, but as you see there, he's got a 3ft wide (inside measurements) cannon mounted their...he liked to use a special ammo thats iron casted into an arrow shape. or use allot of grapeshot, or even rifle ammo packed into the cannon and fired out like a shotgun.

I'm not sure if an arrow shape would make much difference. Ask Bellono, he's a weapons nut in real life too.

I thought we all were lol...I got it from 4 yrs of high school NJROTC (2 army, 2 navy) the arrow shape (or even cone shape) would help with close range peircing of heavy armor.

Fair enough. I'm not really familliar with any weapons more modern than a bow. Call me oldschool.
Unless they involve fire. . .

well, kain did make things more interesting, i mean, giant rips in reality and uber storms? but yea, might not be very steampunk, still cool. makes me wish i wasnt crisped by the ether helix Well, Sir Newton, there's nothing preventing you starting a new character up. Remember, the British Empire hasn't done much yet and right now two potential threats are severely crippled. Write up a character and their backstoryand stick it in the character thread so we can take a look at it. If you wish to start a new faction (or comandeer the british) PM Sir Nikolas, Shreds or myself to work it out.

I started out with the Inquisition...big mess they made...but now I'll be playing as an old RP character of mine, Haplo...it'll be just him and his crew aboard the Osiris...its a big differance, having used Kain for most RP's here and otherplaces...should be fun using an old character lol p.s. I will be online from 9:00 to about 5:00 tomorrow, but I'm going to Isabela_Sparrow's party @ 6:00, so i will miss quite a bit of the rp tomorrow...plz don use te new character, I've got em right where I want em (or where he'd want him lol)

lol...thats what he's designed for...when I made that character he was to be the psycopathic mad scientist type...in some rp's he also had too much money/time/recources/troops, and was an assassin...its only normal to make him overly done when I involve him in war...

I never thought I'd had to say this. But make sure you're post make sense. No going back and changing things that happened in previous posts. If you didn't describe yourself doing something then it didn't happen (things that are based in a time period before the thread are the obvious exception) Discrepancies will be blackmarked as things for the other posters on this thread to ignore.

Examples of this, just in case there is anything unclear about Arcturon's post.
Character, let's call him Bob, is standing in a field chewing gum and talking to Jane.
Character Jane says something he doesn't agree with.
Bob then whips out the bow and arrow he made while Jane's back was turned and shoots her.
This all is supposed to have happened in the course of a ten minute conversation in a field.
NO! That does not work in this RP mechanic. If Bob has a bow and arrow, he can't make it while talking in a field and chewing gum, unless he explicitly said something like this in his first post.
Think before posting, guys, otherwise the game stops making sense, posts become difficult to read and the story becomes fuddled.

I'm afraid I have not been able to get my hands on the soundtrack, else it would be in my playlist of epic music that I play when I take on projects that are far too big for me.

The LOTR soundtrack works very well.

Looks like I have something new to go hunting for while waiting for paint and glue to dry. Ok so I just had the worst possible idea for a house of ill repute in Krakenfell and I have to share the brain brake-age with you. Spoiler-ed for your protection. Now that I have inflicted it on you hopefully I can stop giggling.

Yo, ho, haul together, hoist the colors high. Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die apperantly much more lyrics then what the kid sang in the begining http://www.anysonglyrics.com/lyrics/m/Movie/Pirates-Caribbean-Hoist-Colors-Lyrics.htmoh, and i thought i might mention, i have the ENTIRE soundtrack on my iPod

I shall acquire the soundtrack and I shall get to work on an skypirate version. Airship pirate is great and all, but it loses a lot of it's effect sung without instumentation. We need a marching song. And like any good marching song it will serve eaully as well as a drinking song.
