Anyone have any sort of opinion on the design of the new N-strike Elite Strongarm? Its the Elite version of the Maverick. I bought one recently. A Nice thing about it is that it actually has power behind it's shots. They actually go a distance unlike the Maverick. Also it has what hey call slam fire where if you hold the trigger and keep pulling the cocking mechanism it will fire shot after shot. Its more stream lined looking too. I rather like it as a nerf gun and am planning to try and mod it up possibly remove parts off the front barrel so the rotating part is the most forward part.

This is the Strongarm.

I think mechanically the Strongarm is better, but I prefer the design of the Maverick.

Honestly that was one of my big issues when buying it. I prefer the look of the maverick. I think If I sand downal the detail work they put on and mod it it might be okay. I'm honestly thinking of removing the entire front panel section.

Maybe something like

I put up a re-done Strongarm on this thread a few pages back.
The Maverick definitely has a much more industrial feel than the Strongarm, though its not as powerful. Do be careful where you paint though, since the tolerance between the parts is much tighter on the Strongarm than the Maverick.

It worked fine.  Now, please describe the gun.  Looks interesting, but we need details.

I agree, nice looking piece but some info on it's origins would be nice, and where can I get one Grin

My own latest project is a shrunken version of the Nerf Maverick, a cheap Chinese rip off found in a local £1.00 shop, it's virtually identical in appearance but about half the size, it lacks the rotating barrel an fires soft darts via a spring loaded plunger, I did manage to get one to fire about 6 feet Roll Eyes albeit in a very steep downward arc Grin,

It's currently hung up in the garage having had a little bit off attention and a coat of black primer, as soon as it's looking a little more desirable I'll post some pics.

I also got a tacky looking Mauser at the same time, I thought the grip would come in handy for something.

I do apologise. the gun is not quite finished I still have to a few miner things to do.

I am pleased to introduce the I.M.P (ionising multi-varients pistol)
The pistol is issued to the royal guard. this pistol has four setting which can be used for a number of situations from subduing a large group of rebels to a heavy hitting plasma ball designed to punch through the toughest armour.

I made the gun using a light strike pistol.i picked it up from home bargains for £6 it has been cut up a bit and some copper pipes were used to create the barrel. Smiley not sure if that's the info you were looking for
