hmmmm...that sounds interesting. I'm always a little leery of things that celebrate the history of a particular town/county...I always feel a bit out of place, because I am not of that town/county, and so the history is really lost on me.  If it were a more generalized pioneer/regency-era festival, that would be different.

Being of horrifically bad memory, and unwilling to skim through all the posts here, I'll just make a cursory "Halloo!"  and indicate my home state is Minnesota.  Ya shure.

I don't seem to remember posting here, so if I am duplicating my efforts please forgive me...a fellow midwestern gal chiming in - and a Hoosier to boot! (Ft. Wayne area, specifically speaking).

Cheers!

Setting down a reminder that I live in Columbus, Ohio, quite near the Ohio State University campus. Do give me a holler if you're nearby.

Yikes, sure are a lot of "21 and over" and "18 and over" events Sad. I guess it keeps out the riff-raff and possible greifing. Oh well time to go grow up for a while longer.

P.S. Nebraska here.

Fargo, ND (Yes, like the movie, even if it did not even take place in Fargo...)

I will be attending CONvergence this year in steampunk kit, so it should be fun.  Not much else around here.

Columbia Missouri here, the halfway point between St. Louis and Kansas City.

I'm First Officer of the Mighty Airship Luftsturm, which the crew of attended the Steampunk Pirate Fest back on June 10. We had a great time, and are looking to attend more events and help promote the steampunk genre and connect with more steampunk groups around the Central U.S. =D
