A friend brought me his copy of Mal's gun & asked me to make something in this family, so here's what I came up with... I'm new to the board and I really like your version of Mal's gun. What did you make your version out of? Was it one of the resin kits? Thanks, Scott nice very nice

How about examples of holsters especially for all the NERF mods? I've got an local event coming up and I may end up just putting a belt hooks on them as was used on some flintlock pistols http://www.whitemuzzleloading.com/PistolFlint45FullLeft.jpg

Still only a twinkle in my eye, considering I haven't even remotely finished my current project but I have been thinking about building a functional ray gun. It would shoot negative ions capable of charging objects from a distance and giving people (small) electric shocks together with a violet laser beam salvaged from a now obsolete HD-DVD player. Almost every feature has some kind of real function (although a few are purely aesthetic). I give you - the Electrifying Luciferisor! A link for the picture incase it doesn't work for you... http://lh5.ggpht.com/DrHilkeDeKlicke/SFtdvxrGexI/AAAAAAAAAEo/oDdDcIQCxW0/Electrificating%20Luciferisor.jpg

Which is odd, because if you copy and paste the URL in a new window, it works just fine For me, anyway

My first foray into Steampunk weaponry, aimed at being an interpretation of a standard issue type of weapon for the British Army. Yes I know they haven't got triggers but they are damn hard to make on scratch builds!

Update! My partner judged that the barrels looked too much like copper water piping (wich they are made of). So modding them again was the only option. Still WIP, those ornaments yet need to blend in with their surroundings.

Are you going to give it some sort of sight?

Dearest colleagues,
What a superb thread this is! What incredible work!! You inspire me!!!
I shall start posthaste on The Holy Handgun of Antioch, Vampire eliminator. A wood particle beam gun (wood particles acting as stakes through the heart.)
My apologies to any Vampires on this list. I promise it will only be used in self defense.
Again, great work.

I've found that sometimes, it's even better to stand behind a brick wall, about a block away from your work.

I've obtained a Super Soaker for £5.99 from the local Aldi. Modifications will commence shortly (as soon as I've got some brass-effect paint). Photos will be posted as and when I have something useful to show!

Those look great Leadmil. I applaud your decision to paint them with a more traditional gunmetal look. I love brass as much as the next goggle lover but its nice to have some variety among weapons.
