Thought I'd show off the scatter gun I'm working on.

The original toy shotgun I was working off of -
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Stage two with the barrel and stock chopped down along with a scope added.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Next up is a bit of sanding a repainting.  A richer wood for the brown and the scope and silver will become brass.  The backstory on the scope is that it was more a handier spyglass than actual sight for sniping.

Looks like it will turn out rather nicely!

That pepperbox is a lovely piece of kit, sir - you tempt me to attempt some "brassification" of my pot-metal replica....

It has always struck me, very much, as "a gentleperson's weapon" - effective, yet, somehow, refined.

Here's my latest creation, it's just a repainted Nerf gun, but I've got more plans for it than just the paint.

When I find something suitable, I'm going to replace the stock, and do some more customizations the main body of the rifle.

Yes I am in peculiar wonder over that certain pattern in waistcoats, just love it. Whether its in a pillow or a waistcoat it's a wonderful material -_q

How do you make Bolt pistols?

I love the warhammer weapons and novels, I think that it is pretty steam punk, even if its future steampunk, er, do you know what I mean? I dont play the board games though.

I think this thread is the greatest.

If you like Ciaphas Cain, try the Harry Flashman novels. They're basically Cain set during the Victorian era. Sandy Mitchell has explicitly stated that Flashman is his inspiration for Cain.
