Sorry. I thought you were insulting my candlestick barrel...

Not at all, it looks fine, I would only suggest a little more ornamentation to the piece as a whole.

Trust me, when I start insulting anyone, they know it's happening.

Kind regards,

Dr. Q.

i had that notion a while ago.

we definitely need a thread somewhere to discuss the makings of a steampunk cluedo

Great idea!

Now we just need permission to use pictures of Radio Saturday's fabulous house and we're onto a winner.

Hmm... I do believe you also go by the name Kommissar, as I've seen that second weapon somewhere before.

Now that's innovative thinking!

Those villains will be scared out of their wits, initially thinking they're getting their hair dried.

Just kidding!
It takes a creative mind to see the alternatives!

Great first time job, Zilo-edsel!

Excellent piece of work that man.

The grip detailing is the sort of ingenuity that makes me happy to be here.

The topmost raygun was built with the design brief "I want it to look girly, but not too girly to melt someone's face off"/

I didn’t want to start another gun thread for this, so I’ll just post it here.

It’s a WIP of a Dinosaur Gun. Loosely based off a WW1 German anti-tank gun.

Originally I was going to make an Air Kraken rifle, but as I was inletting the breach; I got thinking how much more fun and challenging hunting Dinosaurs would be. (You need a large caliber round to penetrate a dino’s skull, but being able to calmly aim and hit the tiny brain as an enraged Tyrannosaurus Rex is charging at you makes it so sporting)

Right now, I have it very roughly shaped, and only the breach area almost inleted, so I still have to finish inletting the rest of the barrel before I can do any more work on the stock.

I figure that I can post additional pictures as work progresses.

I love the idea of a dino gun. If I were to make one I'd base it loosely on the Browning BAR.. Cheesy

About 5/8ths of a vase. I have three others, all of which I might use for another raygun.

Well, here's a shot of my latest fire arm. A tad larger then I'm used to, but such a beauty I just couldn't resist.
