Dearest Readers,

Our launch date for ESPTV is rapidly approaching and we are actively looking for Steampunk films, animation, documentary... in fact anything Steamy we can lay our hands on. We're UK based but are looking worldwide.
ESPTV is a new venture from Ermine Street Project CIC, a film company run by Sharon and Martin,  Lincoln UK steampunks who shall be known to a few of you on here. Although we shall be launching the full channel in October 2012, we are going to let you lucky people get a sneak preview in September, (just in time for The Asylum) of the Steampunk Channel.
We are looking for broadcast quality films in the main (although we might be persuaded to include the odd "home-made" offering if it tickles us) and our ethic is that you must be splendid to your fellow contributors and aim to pay them if you haven't already. (Man cannot live on cake alone... although Martin is trying his level best to prove otherwise....)
What we hope is that ESPTV will be a launch pad for new creatives and for your pains we shall reward you with 50% of the advertising revenue that your contribution brings in. We shall back you up with a nice marketing campaign to maximise your chance of making a few pennies. You still own your film, of course, but we ask for exclusivity when we can (although we're flexible and the contracts are normally quite short).
E-mail us on info@erminestreetproject.co.uk and we shall tell you more...

Oh nice! This looks like a film version of the 'Tales From The Asylum' process, steampunks doing it for themselves.

Must have a chat with you at the Asylum .

Many thanks, gentlemen!
Methinks I shall have a very busy weekend, what with selling goods too! (well, Tinker manages it)
There's a rich vein of stories in Tales from the Asylum- it might be nice to look into making some into little films when some funding starts trickling in. As a "preview to the preview", we have some morsels up on Youtube for now. This is the most recent in the style of an old Pathe newsreel:
The 3rd Foot n Mouth News-YouTube

Will see you all soon!

Arkwright would definitely be interested in adaptions of Tales.

Have you thought about putting stuff forward for Thoughtbubble in Leeds in November? I have some connections there.

Yes, myself and Arkwright have had a few discussions on this topic...
Not heard of Thoughtbubble. I will look into it. More interested in material coming our way then us sending material elsewhere though.
Not long til Asylum! Leaflets in the process of being printed, now busy with the mechanics of the channel launch...

Ms.Hugh,
Absolutely love your Pathe style film of the 3rd Foot and Mouth regiment, I wasn't sure if I was shedding a tear of hilarity or pride...well done those men!
