I just finished this game on XBOX, and I have to say it had more than a fair share of Steampunk technology in it. Anyone else played this??

Oh man, I love Oddworld. Sadly I've missed the last few. Eventually I'll get around to buying a PS2 and Xbox and play Munch's Oddysee and this one.

My friends and I STILL use the whistle calls from the old side-scroller, Abe's Exoddus as signal/response calls in real life.

Yes they do. If I remember correctly there are 2 games for the Xbox from Oddworld. There's Munch's Oddysee which was one of the first releases for the Xbox which may make it hard to find. Then there was Stranger's Wrath.

I rented this a few months ago (along with Ninja Gaiden BLACK, which I think I not only lost sleep over, but cried over as well. By far, the most difficult game that I have EVER played. How does one die 12 times before you even see the opening credits for the game? It's insane). The disc was damaged so I didn't get a chance to play it very long before it died on me, but from what I saw, I would definately say that it is steampunkish.

^ you havn't played Devil may cry 3 (origional, not special edition) or Shinobi have you?

anyway I rented Stranger's wrath from my place of employment and I didn't get very far/interested, the developers didn't allow you to switch from inverted to a regular aiming system so i died alot in the begining and ultimatly got board with the game.

I do however love the style the game is set in.

this brings up another game, has anyone ever played Darkwatck, it fits perfectly in the wierd west, and having a horror game in the west is very origional to me (something about the isolation common in most old west settings)
