Hey any chance you got my intro for Abney Park?  It was a little recruiting speech written by Molly Friedrich which I got to read on stage.  I was so incredibly nervous that the wonderful and kind Finn noticed and came over and rubbed my shoulder and asked me if I was OK!  of course then I completely lost the power of speech!  anyway, I just hope I wasn't too lame!

Sorry, didn't get it. I was actually about 20 minutes late for the start. ^^; Sorry.

The wedding was sweet. I caught the last 3/4 of it. It was provided by a minister of the Church of the Sub-genius. Love it!

Never did see the interior of the Neverwas Haul. My patience had worn thin, and time was running short. We did get to meet a bunch of forumers though. So, WHEE!

As many times as I've been in close proximity to it, I have not once been inside. Always so crowded.

The lady in the 'fashionably attired pair' is Lady Almira, of the HMS Chronobelle, and on the forums Smiley

Nice! So I did meet a forumer. I wasn't sure and they seemed kinda busy so I skipped a formal introduction. I probably met several, but was too busy trying to go five directions at once.

I thought you did great with the introduction for the band. Besides all love you. You could have fallen down and we would have helped you up and applauded anyway.

I wish I'd had a chance to talk to you more, but I could tell you were overwhelmed.  Hope you've gotten a chance to recoup.

Cheers!

The gentleman in the photo is U.S. Agent John Strock, nemesis of Capt. Robur the Conqueror. Apparently he is frustrated by his inability to apprehend Robur and is rounding up any other Air Pirates he can lay his hands on!

I have to say, only your modesty exceeds your creativity and talent.  If those were your *street* clothes, I can't imagine how great a costume would be.  Seriously.

And it was terrific meeting you in person (everyone was taller than on TV--er, "radio transmitter visual transporter engine").  I hope to have something to show soon in the realm of a half way respectable Army jacket-if I can get the seams right.  And I'd love any pointers...
