Currently imbibing a bottle of Woodchuck Draft Cider. Ah, but which sub-brand is it? I've only had the chutzpah (see: funding) to try two different brands and, at the moment, I don't recall which two or which one I liked more...

Ordinarily I drink Hobgoblin ale or Captain Morgan's Rum, but on occasion they get mixed A double rum in a pint of ale, puts hairs on your chest

I am a whiskey man. After spending some time in Scotland, and visiting the distilleries in Islay, I would have to say that I prefer the Islay malts. Bowmore's 12 year is utterly fantastic. Wonderfully peaty, but not too heavy. A sipping drink, as are all good whiskeys.
I also drink wine on occasion, though almost exclusively red. I'm living in western NY at the moment, so I tend to stick with local wineries. For anyone else in the area, I would suggest Imagine winery, near Naples.

I'm a lightweight so I can't drink much but when I do I like Smirnoff Ice (yes, sacrilege) or a glass of iced tea lightly spiked with Captain Morgan rum, Peach Schnaaps, or a bit of both. I do like some wines, mostly the cheap, fruity ones you can get for $4 at the supermarket, and a good sangria could never go to waste around me.

Ale. Or Port. Or Vodka. Or all of them. Or the strongest alcohol from whatever country I am in at the time. Or anything nice. But mostly Port. MORE PORT MISTER DOW!
so, what brand of port do you prefer? I've tried a few and have found I'm more partial to ruby than tawny but it's a close call. Port is probably my favorite fall/winter drink.

Big fan of the Italian beverages myself.
A good amaretto on a cold night, or a creme di limone on the rooftops.
Mmm.

Sudden rush of justifiable pride! Additionally, don't worry about being sixteen. Hardly anyone under the legal age in Ireland doesn't drink. I'm a rare case in that I made it to age nineteen without a sip of the demon drink .

Dark Rum, preferrably Captain Morgan with two lumps of ice per double shot.
Am I picky? More than most!
I also do love a good red wine...but the cheap ones seem to be my favourite. I have particular love of Valpolicella wine.

A friend of mine who works at the Observatory Museum in Sydney was sent on a museum trip around Europe some years ago. He said that the taste of Guinness got better the closer one was to Dublin. Until he was lying on the floor underneath a barrel in the Guinness museum, holding out a credit card crying, "Charge it!!!" At this point, I would love to add "Arsenic and many of its compounds..." Master Torvald, we must stop meeting like this. I was reading an old chemistry demonstration book recently that had the "taste the lead acetate (sugar of lead) and note the sweet taste"...

Arbitrary set of rules that nobody here really follows. Most of the people I know started drinking at that age, I know some who started drinking glasses of wine at 12, I finished my first bottle of gin when I was 14. As for my choice of liver destroying compounds: San Miguel beer's Cerveza Negra is on top of my beer list, their pale beer just doesn't compare. for Liquor: Lambanog (Coconut liquor)- for the times that you want to show how manly you are by trying to drink each other under the table Tequila rose- for just kicking back with friends Russian bull- vodka and red bull mixed together White Russian - I think this may be Bailey's and vodka My friend brought back some mead after a trip to London and I've been searching for a company that sells locally. Alas, no luck so far

Well, good sir, we can always arrange a more traditional meeting of minds...I still need some help creating very specialized gunpowder
