Lately I have been enjoying Crown Royal Whiskey, Captain Morgan's Private stock rum, White Winery Mead, Dos Equis lager, Delirium Tremens Belgian Golden Ale, and Blue Moon Belgian whitbier.

Lately in the evenings I have been enjoying a small glass of lovely semi sweet mead that I traded for some six or seven years ago. It was made by a friend who at the time was looking into going commercial with his production. Economy and other factors ended the experiment. I managed to acquire two cases of his WONDERFUL mead though!.

Right now, I'm drinking a 1:1:1 mix of Kraken Rum, Creme De Caco, and Whole Cream.
The alcohol savvy amongst you will recognize that as the formula for a Brandy Alexander, only with Rum. You'd be right. It is.
I did not mix it that way for lack of Brandy (no no-my freezer ALWAYS has at LEAST a pint of VSOP Christian's Brothers), but rather I thought that the vanilla overtones of the rum would compliment the chocolate.
Couple all that with the fact I'm smoking Cherry E-Cig juice, and it's like a chocolate covered cherry with vanilla cream...
Heavenly.

The basic story is over in the GAAAAAAAAH and Things that make you Happy threads-but the long story short is, I've no time anymore.
I've been dealing with worker's comp, two jobs, modding two forums, and trying to be an active member of my LS on FFXI. Couple that with the fact I'm working ALOT MORE WITH MUSIC than I used to (even when I was in a band!), and it makes for precious little time anymore. I'll also be staring up college this fall-I HOPE I'm able to get on AT LEAST once a month.
I'd LOVE to be back on daily, but I don't know how well that'd go for now.
But yes, that's where I've been!

My smartphone allows me to be on Facebook practically 24/7, so yeah...
ALRIGHT! ENOUGH OF THE DERAIL! LET'S GET THIS BACK ON THE LEFT TRACK!

Not on facebook.
Non-alcoholic red wine goes well with Kraken meat.

Looks like wine, tastes like wine, but de-alcoholled, if there is such a word! Bit like non-alcoholic beer - brewed like beer, pours like beer, tastes like beer, but no alcohol.

ACTUALLY, that's a misconception. Non-Alcoholic beer still has trace amounts of alcohol, simply due to the brewing process. Hell, were I to make another batch of Homemade Root Beer, it'd have trace amounts in it...
Sorry... Problems... OCD... I'll go away now...

No, No, - it's ok! Bit like lemon, lime & bitters - most people don't realise that there is a small amount of alcohol in it - which is why I only have one when I'm out & doing the driving. I like the taste & am more likely to drink a few more at home.
My favourite 'poison' is Baileys - especially in summer when I enjoy the occasional Bailey's milkshake: 600 ml (1 pint) of ice cold milk, 200 ml (1/3 pint) Bailey's & 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream - depending on how thick you like your milkshake, or thickshake - blended together.

I myself am a fan of the Guinness Shake. Bailey's and I don't get along so famously anymore... Let's just say that 2 5ths later, there was a mess... But yes, back to the Guinness Shake-Vanilla Ice Cream, and substitute Guinness for the milk. After you mix it (with a bit o' chocolate syrup) all together, splash the top with a bit more Guinness! It's like HEAVEN IN A GLASS!!! ... And with that, I take my leave-I've (rather unfortunately) got an early day upon the morrow... >.<

Hey steamers. I just discovered a great Aussie beverage with steamy sensibilities... Best part is it tastes great! Nice and tart, just how I like my cider!

Now you're making me wish for cider... :-( I'll have to acquire some next pay day. In the mean time I think I'll spike my hot chocolate with fireball.

I'm a huge fan of Magners cider, on ice, with a wedge of lemon or lime, although I will definitely look out for the Miracle cider next time I'm browsing for liquor.

Favourite poison? - probably whatever I've brewed or created most recently. I've recently made a dark ginger liqueur that's so dark it's almost black. Very smooth and sippable. And it took less than a week to make, which is very quick for a liqueur.

If I were a drinking man, it'd definitely be a nice Macallen Scotch.
(alas, I am neither a drinker nor a man)
That "miracle cider" looks fantastic, though. I may see if I can acquire a bottle or two simply because the label made me chortle.
