Hey,

Is someone here from Poland?
Steampunk is almost not-known in Poland, but I saw some people on this forum, I think we should meet and get together!  Grin

And yet you have some fantastic writers in Poland... I only know them by reputation but one I can't wait to read is Jacek Dukaj http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacek_Dukaj. At least some of his books seem to have Steampunk flavour.

And not forgetting the post-apocalyptic sci-fi Avalon, made by acclaimed Manga/Anime director Mamoru Oshii.

I'm aware there's a big Goth scene in Poland, perhaps as these people get older and start looking for a scene with more depth some will discover the joys of Steampunk.

Yeah, there are a lot of Goths in Poland. Gothic (and similar subcultures) is getting 'old' in here.
I hope it will be as you said, when people will get older, they will enjoy it.  Smiley

The reason we chase is lost in romance.
And still we try to justify the waste for a taste of man's greatest adventure.
