So, that lot of imperialist Queen's lapdogs think they can band together to hunt down us pirates? I think not. I think if we bucaneers band together we can make the world safe for piracy. Who can look to face all the pirates of the skies when they present a united front. Who has the courage to face all sky pirates united! Defeaters of aerosharks, harnessers of air-kraken, plunderers of the royal navy!
I know captain, Hephastus, of the Reckless Abandon, will stand against them. But what say you of the Ophellia? Or the Aurelia?
And you, who work for the empire, do you not tire of servitude? Do you not long to throw off the shackles the Queen has bound you with?
Join us, embrace freedom and the life of a pirate!
Stiofain McChoilleain Chief Engineer first class and Minister for Propaganda of the Reckless Abandon.

Pirate or privateer, kinsman or clansman; to have his pistol is to have his conviction, and so be convicted.

Servitude implies we have no choice. Some take it a privilege to act in honor of our queen. Granted - that's not me. I will, as always, happily provide my services to the highest bidder. Best of luck sirrah! Yours, RD

I suppose now would be a good time to run out the Sam Bellamy quote. "D--n my bl--d... I scorn to do any one a Mischief, when it is not for my Advantage... Tho', d--n ye, you are a sneaking Puppy, and so are all those who will submit to be governed by Laws which rich Men have made for their own Security, for the cowardly Whelps have not the Courage otherwise to defend what they get by their Knavery; but d--n ye altogether: D--n them for a Pack of crafty Rascals, and you, who serve them, for a Parcel of hen-hearted Numskulls. They vilify us, the Scoundrels do, when there is only this Difference, they rob the Poor under the cover of Law, forsooth, and we plunder the Rich under Protection of our own Courage; had you not better make One of us, than sneak after the A---s of those Villains for Employment?..."
"I am a free Prince, and I have as much Authority to make War on the whole World, as he who has a hundred Sail of Ships at Sea and an Army of 100,000 Men in the Field; and this my Conscience tells me; but there is no arguing with such snivelling Puppies, who allow Superiors to kick them about Deck at Pleasure; and pin their faith upon a Pimp of a Parson; a Squab, who neither neither practices nor believes what he puts upon the chuckle-headed Fools he preaches to."

Me and mine are of a more mercenary breed. We are a crew who have done jobs that run from bounty hunting to smuggling. We answer to no kings nor queens but hold our customers in the highest regard...or until their money runs out. So if you got the cash we got your back.

Take away from me the skies and I shall take away from thee thine eyes. Among other things.
A mere moment ago I was but a sole soul wandering the world from wonder to wasteland, but this new challenge has awakened my thirst for true adventure! No longer shall I stumble across the globe. I hereby offer my sword and skill to anyone wishing to rid those who threaten our ways... as long as I get a respectable position on a shiny airship. And copious amounts of brew. And a nice hat.
Cheers!

"i'm not stealing this, I'm in the item re-positioning service"?
well... The Orfiel is always open to any air-men/women as either stowaways or crew.. but as a stowaway if you don't pull your weight till you get off I'll kill you.
right now I'm all by my lonesome, all my crew had been scared off save one or two, due to someone told them my ship was possessed... it is not.. but there is a lot of rumors going around about me and my ship........and most of the time they're true.....even if they're not.
as a side note..I don't like mercenaries, and I do attack suspicion....my advanced apologies.

Hmmmm, continue to be a Confederate spy in the Union Army or completely go rogue?
Choices choices.
Face it, the allure of piracy is far to strong.
Well, dash it all.
I'll just commender the first dirigible I can find.

The Orfiel is always open to any air-men/women as either stowaways or crew.. but as a stowaway if you don't pull your weight till you get off I'll kill you. Good protocol. But the question remains: how do you pronounce "Orfiel"? I'm offering my services (as a crewmate mind you) on a first-come-first-serve basis, but besides my requirements... the ship needs to be properly named so as to avoid embarrassing situations. For instance, when inviting a buxom wench aboard, I would say "come aboard Orfiel, me lass" and she might reply with "or feel your lass? What?". Awkward indeed. right now I'm all by my lonesome, all my crew had been scared off save one or two, due to someone told them my ship was possessed... it is not.. but there is a lot of rumors going around about me and my ship........and most of the time they're true.....even if they're not. Excellent, because I heard you carry copious amounts of beer, weapons and hats. as a side note..I don't like mercenaries, and I do attack suspicion....my advanced apologies.[/size] I'm not a mercenary but if you attack me I will attack you back. Granted, I generally attack anything anyway, so... my advanced apologies. Right. If you're swinging around my realm anytime soon and you agree to my terms, I see no reason why we shouldn't begin our campaign come next moonrise. What say you?

I can see where the name can become a bit of a concern.... I simply had to rename the poor ship, there was no way I was going to call MY ship the "glückliche fische" (...and my german is poor.. but happy fish?)
alas, it is OR-FAY-ELL. original Oriphiel (OR-RI-FAY-EL)
there absolutely will be plenty of beer, plenty of weapons.. and if there isn't a hat in the holds that suits you, we'll make sure to liberate a really nice one from an undeserving head.
I'm going to have to post the ships plans...let you get accustomed to her at your own pace. as it is up to you, than welcome aboard, we'll fly over and pick you up

I can see where the name can become a bit of a concern.... alas, it is OR-FAY-ELL. No kiddin? I was also thinking "orfee-el" but your version sounds best (and good btb). Very well than, I will see you at dawn and I assume we will begin battle soon thereafter... I see they fired the first shot in the other thread... they think they're so clever.* * Don't tell anyone, but I lol'd

The U.S.S Airkraken is less a pirate vessal, but a practitioner of free trade. Embargoes and Illegal cargo only get in the way of honest merchants, so i dutifully ignore them. And if i get into a few scuffles on the way, that's life on the bird roads.
But I will stand against the pirate hunters, to keep the skies free.

Sorry, I can't help it...
Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand, I don't care, I'm still free; you can't take the sky from me.
So long as the sky and the sea prevail, I will bow to no flag!
(Well, except that of her majesty the king Insanity, but that's another matter entirely...)
That sort of includes yours too, but as our interests currently co-incide, you may rely on me.
Oh, and M. Kiskolou, you're back in the skies I see?

Excellent! This is the response I was expecting! I knew the proud pirates of the skies would rise to this challenge!
Prepare yourselves, prepare your cannon, prepare your pistols, prepare your swords! We are at war!
And remember, it is not rape and pillage, merely surprise sex and aggressive borrowing!
