You... you diabolical bastard. Any relation to an Australian by the name of O. Mandrill?
Monkey Island reference! Hurrah! To all those offering their services, you are welcome. There is ever room in our ranks for those of a hearty constitution and a willing nature. Get these men some rum! Alternatively...The new recruits could join the First Fleet and not be attenuated across the nearest planar surface.

....I seriously doubt the possibility of that happening, given that within a few months your ships shall be burning, your loot divided, and your women (if any) lamenting.

Stout hearts and strong wills were ever a match for the likes of you. I assure you that I have many bullets. One especially has a certain name engraved upon it. (Out of character: I, quite seriously, am not out to get you, and I'm sorry if that came across as overly threatening.)

Should my meager talents be of any use to you, they are offered.
If they aren't necessary, then I might offer my gun hand in place of them.
Good lad! You can join the Orfiel if you're "meager talents" include fine marksmanship, expert hand-to-hand combat, and a severe scowl.

I would offer my sword, but as this seems to be more of a gun fight, I will offer instead my merciless and insatiable lust for blood.

If you would be willing to join our crew, the Morpheus would be more than willing to have you aboard. Yes, you will get your own bunk.

Actually, we (and be we I mean our captain because by the time the rest of us hit the enemy's decks she's already cleared the ship--seriously Vermillion, throw us a bone here)... that was a long parenthesis, kinda forgot my train of thought... oh, roght, "we" often hover below our prey* and board the poor bastards to take them with our blades and haul off their goods. So we could always use some good blades--the more you have the more we'd like ya. But you won't get your own bunk, but rather a fine, full bed--mine! WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE** * you would think they'd developed nests on the undersides already, but it must be some sort of taboo for them. anyway, their loss. (NO that was NOT a pun and if you disagree you will soon be level with your own feet due to a dislodged head, savvy?) ** too strong?

Drink tea, you say? Marvelous! The wonderful aroma could possibly distract the victims, allowing us to play some fantastic pranks on them, followed by a sly kill. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a jolly good time. I can't remember if I brought aboard any fresh blood in the last couple pages or not actually. Well, there was one fellow but he hasn't been around, so who knows. I have many blades. I keep a big, nasty, serrated one under my pillow while I sleep. WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE**

Not strong enough I'm afraid. If I wanted some relaxing foreplay I would use any of the bar wenches I catch on leave. But... many blades, you say? As a connoisseur of shiny things, I find the idea of having a fellow appreciator of steel and therefore a worthy sparring partner, quite enticing, seeing as the captain isn't around often enough to provide me a challenge. You can get your own bunk if that kind of thing makes a difference to you. However, what I found most welcoming about Orfiel was the fantastic brew and sensational selection of hats. If Capt. Michael Generic over there hasn't already claimed your soul, you would be welcome aboard the Orfiel, as long as you allow me a glance at your blades. edit--AND you promise me a good spar at least once every other day. Almost forgot that one, quite important.

Ahh, I'm afraid I've already accepted Capt. Bedlam's offer, though your offer is enticing. I'm dry as a bone, but I do love a good hat. Still, I'd certainly be up for some sparring if we are ever to meet in the atmosphere!
Pictures? Well, sadly my blades are rather more utiliarian and rather less aesthetically interesting, but I am working on that. I am sadly poor. But I do have a Bowie knive! And perhaps you'd be interested in a Hattori Hanzo sword?

Oh ho, dear lass, if we were to meet amongst the clouds, I would have to kill you. Unless we were both fighting our common enemy, the imperial dogs. You've had your chance. However, if you bail on Bedlam I'm willing to accept you on our decks in that case--but no take-backs!
Don't worry about the pictures, I actually don't have a collection myself (as in, outside these forums, in the life of reality), as I care more for machinations there than pointy things, as the latter can do nothing but sit there. I appease my lust for shinies with the former.
I'm just curious though: are you from Narnia? Your avatar-photo looks like it was taken there. At the very least, the lady there looks a wee bit frigid.

Hardly frigid, but certainly cold. And, no, not Narnia. It's a beautiful place to be sure, but Neverland is much more fun. It's not everyday I get to fly without a jetpack.
