Thought this one might appeal to many of you as it is a collection of photographs from around 100 years ago.  Many end up being too late for our immediate interests, but from a genuine interest in a time that was, I find it to be quite a refreshing blog.

enjoy!

Perhaps a little late, but considering what's being shown....I have to echo the above person's sentiments. Very flash indeed. Something I will probably end up showing to my friends.

I always try to keep the "pre-WWI" theme as a safety catchall for this genre.  There are only a few photos within this blog that qualify for that, but the ones that they have are quality.

if you are interested in mining history, they focus on that quite a bit.

Ferrets of course being far superior to kittens.

I admit, that was my first instinct at well when I saw the picture. I think it adds something to the experience of seeing it.

Ferrets of course being far superior to kittens.

But of course. Especially in the dangerous field of rat catching.

Ferrets. Great little critters, tend to be rather playful to boot.

Oh yes duh... those are ferrets. I don't know why I thought "kittens"?? Though I have to disagree that Ferrets are superior to Kittens.  Grin
