My dear Madlove. Just a thought or two. Why not start with a reading of The Free Port City of Salvage or The LEAGUE of ISHMAEL. Then when Steam London is archived, have that as a play/reading?. Would it be better after a play has been written and the "actors" chosen. To send them just their lines to be recorded, sent back to you "The Editor?" which would be spliced together, with added sound effects? Wells. I will have to look into the suggestions you made as I am not familar with them. I am looking to do something like a play with the actors being sent their lines and such. As I mentioned in another thread we have begun our first recording. We might look into doing some of the suggested to help us along. uhm, i see there is a number of german people around this project. being a speaker of german myself, i look forward to seeing a german project too. i am willing to contribute when i have the time too, not only to any future german project, but also to the general concept. while i have no time for writing, i could do some reading too, even if i lack any kind of german accent while reading in english. i could instead plant a very nice romanian touch to both german and english reading. so if any piece of writing takes place in the eastern europe, or could use an eastern-european touch, just let me know. for further contact exceeding the matters of this thread, usee the mail: andrei_cociuba@yahoo.com . note that the romanian language is not similar to slavic languages, being of latin origin even if local ways of pronouncing words are strongly influenced by slavic languages due to the vicinity. Your voice would be welcome. If you could provide a voice sample using part of a story on the Aethercast forums. A minute or two is more than adequate. Hehe alright I know its a cheesy play on words but hey it's true. Ladies and Gentlemen, We have currently launched our first Aethercast and it was a smashing success I do believe. We are now getting ready to release our second Aethercast and this is going to be a five part series. A most excellent show I can assure you. Now you might be wondering if we have stories why we need yours. Well thats because once we use these stories we are going to need more. Plus I read the ones I have much to fast and I am constantly looking for more to read. I'm just part of the "& Co", but I doubt the Doctor would oppose my saying that we could absolutely use a few more talented writers on our team! Please begin by joining the aethercast forum http://www.madloveandco.com/forum/index.php and posting your interest in the "Applications" section or simply posting a story in the "Library" section. I could do some voice acting, but I don't know if my microphone is good enough. As I understand it, we are currently in need of a few short clips for our current project, and I do not believe that sound quality is a terrific concern for these clips. In future projects Dr. Madlove may want higher quality audio, but there's no sense in assuming your microphone is not good enough until we've heard a test. Hopefully Dr. Madlove will be on sooner than later, to give you more information about our current project. In the meantime, it may prove useful to sign up for the Aethercast forum http://www.madloveandco.com/forum/index.php and post an application (in the "applications" section.) |

I can do it on command and I can really get into it. I have a few variations on it, like *start with a slow chuckle and then do a halting crazy laugh and then up the volume to sheer evil madness* and other variations, I basically mix and match my evil laughs.
Hmm, I should try to focus on a rogue-ish hero sort, I do almost too much villainy with my voice.

That is an interesting idea. We have actually begun work on something of a continual play and that might be something that adds a little flavor to it. I have next week off. Maybe after this stressful week of midterms, i can sit down and do my audition.
I will be more than happy to receive it when you have the time. I have posted an update on what is going on with <a href=" www.madloveandco.com">Madlove and Company</a>. One thing I forgot to place in there is that we are looking for more poetry of the steampunk nature. Once we have enough pieces we are going to make an Aethercast dedicated to just poetry.
