Every Sunday before Christmas the volunteer Fire Service drive a fire engine up and down the local streets with sirens and Christmas music blaring and a Santa on the back throwing bags of treats to the children. They just went up our street. Love seeing them each year.

Grew up in Sudan, actually. Keep my flag set there cause it's home, basically. Even if it's been bloody yonks since I last set foot in the country (we were emergency evac'd). I have pictures! I should make an album and post them here one day... But that's something like work...

And while hard work never hurt anyone, I'm still not taking any chances.
