No Probs' and good use of what looks like an old reciprocating saw?

It’s actually a vintage drill I use them for most of my rayguns I think the suit it well

First update I finished one of the guns it’s more steampunk with a fae influence

Please don't think this some kind of criticism , because it isn't. I feel you could do a lot more with those background frames, there is detailing that is screaming to be dry brushed and highlighted, maybe a change of colour to enhance the main piece to make it shine more.

I dunno, white just............. Sorry, just me.

So here’s an update I decided to go with the fairy theme although I might change the fairy to one without the extra frame also looking at possibly distressing the frame

Changed it up a bit after some advice

I think the new look is the better of the two. Even though I know I am only looking at it in two dimensions on a screen, it adds depth and age.

Not advice, just offering an alternative option.

The most important thing is how do you feel about the changes made to the framing, are you happy? After all it's your work and you are the one who has to look at it all day every day.

That being said, I too think, looking better than white, adds so much more to the feel of the piece!

I am very happy with the changes I too think it has more depth and looks more on point

There is an age old expression that states that the attention is in the details, sometimes more shouts out.....and sometimes Less is more It's a juggle of creative judgement, with out a doubt.

Do what you think looks right and don't rush it.
