My attempt to make a house look slightly different, decoration wise, I hope a little Steampunk.

All my eggs in one chaotic basket, some things will be off topic.... WIP

That image URL is extremely long. It also has an appendix (anything after the "?" sign), with the size of the image which is meant to be read with some script used by the image server in whichever language (html, etc.). When I type it out as a link and click on it, I get a screen that reads that I should sign in onto my Microsoft account.

I buy the taxidermy off ebay and remount it, most everything else is made from scraps from a skip or stuff lying around the house, bits of pipe and plumbing, doodads bought from car boots etc.

For example.....

was made from sheep spines, cow bones, fish tank gravel, shells and rubbish wood including pallet and mdf, a shops dummy head and a light, wired to the kitchen and I had a very striking wall piece, I hope.

The pewter cup and plate in this one

were left to me by my dad, again everything else is made from scraps with a few additions like the pockets watches.

A marble egg with chopped up clock parts attached, polished and lacquered, simple but effective ( I call it the Holy Hand Granade)

At least the pictures are viewable now.

Yeah, gave up with onedrive and back to good old reliable imgBB, a bit more of a faff, but at least it works, I tend to make what I like the look of and if anyone else likes or appreciates it all the better..........

A little something added to the woodburner/ central heating.

An old combi boiler heat exchanger with some extra bits, plumbed into the heating, it gets very hot, a little addition to the rads.

My first attempt at silver soldering, a broken bracelet, some plumbing bits, a bootlace and the wooden toggles from a old blind.

Very tactile and I use as a kind of worry bead, fits it the hand extremely well.

Admittedly not to everyone's taste, but I like to recycle / upcycle where ever possible.

I think the thing I love is collecting a ton of rubbish then see what I can make.

Even my bird feeder is cobbled from a scrap kitchen pot and a wok.

I've just completed a light for my kitchen, simple looking thing.

I decided to cover my central heating programmer and thought this might look OK above it.

Connected to the programmer/ boiler wiring with an LED flicker flame bulb.

Hot water / heating on indicator. (a salvaged neon from a old dumped fused spur)

Safety paramount, a lot of metal and electricity so over earthed.

Basic parts....... A 70mm copper 45, some plumbing fittings a glass bottle, a light fitting, a shroud from a dumped leadlight, junk MDF, paint from my Dads shed and cable from a skip.

For some reason that last thing makes me think of an old lighhouse out on the sea.
There where usualy at least one entire floor dedicated to old tecnology on most of the electrified ones on remote locations.

I fully agree with what You said here, I love to build things from trash!
Only thing is that i hawe like a half room filled with "nice to hawe for future projects" parts... ha ha!

About that central heater thing,(personaly i think it is super cool!) Is is just a self circulating system, or did You use any pump module or so for it?

I wish i could get my hands on some of those Talon clamps outside the UK, but nobody seem to sell them in my country.
