Two days of Steampunk fun in the Town That Never Was.  It was obvious (to me at least), that many ladies had been working on their Steampunk finery during lockdown.

The weather was glorious.  I envied those ladies who had thought to bring a parasol.  Somehow, a black umbrella just doesn't offer the same protection against the ultry-violent rays . . . . .

Entry was by timed ticket only.  Unfortunately that meant on the first day many had to queue up outside the entrance gate, and then go through the formalities like the animals entering the Ark.  Still, once inside there were few queues (one only at the Forest Glen Tearoom, but that moved quite quickly).

No queuing to get in on the second day, thank goodness.

Looking forward to the next event!
