  Greetings,

  Lets have some:  (single-shot bolt)  action!  ;D

  I tried to make a detachable steampunk sniper rifle, with bits and pieces, and a functional bolt action.

Very nice! In its disassembled state it has a sort of "musical instrument of death" vibe.

I absolutely love it!

Darn fine work my friend, yet another creation that ticks all the boxes IMO
.
Tactile has been a little slow lately, but hopefully this will inspire the creative juices in our beloved members.

Very well done!

I can't quite make out what is embossed on the case...original stamping or something you did?

Also, would be interesting to watch an attempt to get through airport security checkpoints with that.  ;D

That's very clever! That's quite a collection of brass and copper! Though I would add one thing to the stock: a 5cm diameter pressure vessel containing some "power fluid" of sorts, if possible made with a copper pipe or if not a fence steel pipe with rounded caps. To justify the pipes and valves which look quite purposeful.

Remarkable work, very impressive! The fully assembled piece is really rather intimidating - exactly as I expect you meant it to be  ;)

 The embossing was already there, it says: KETEL 1

 -KICKASS
 -EVIL
 -TEMPERED
 -EXTREEM
 -LONGSHOTER

( but actually it is a rare luxury case for a gin bottle with the brand: ketel 1 ;D )

 Your idea inspired me, but performing it was a bit disappointing  :-\
 My ideas were often not in proportion, or they were in the way of other things.
 Then I saw this oil dripper at our overseas friends ( only the delivery time took a very long time  :-\)

 

 but imo It fits well :D
