Thanks for the alert. Not sure if we will go to it because even though I imagine a lot of it will be outdoors, we are still being very cautious at anything that involves more than zero people.

Walhalla - not the most reassuring of places to visit in a pandemic - unless you are a Viking!

Wahalla sounds like a wonderful place. It is in the middle of a forest, at the end of a secondary road. The next village to the north is called Mormon Town. The next village to the south is called Maiden Town and they warn that Walhalla doesn't have any petrol, and neither do the closest two towns on the entrance road.

I saw images of the flooding at Walhalla on the news - it looked pretty bad. I feel a bit sorry for all the accommodation places - they were booked solid for that weekend and now will have to refund their guests. We couldn't find accommodation anywhere near and were planning to stay about an hour away and drive up each day.
