I have been set the task of translating to English a new Brasiliana steampunk series soon to be realized on Amazon Prime. I have been trying to, as much as possible, introduce steampunk appropriate terms and your forum has been great for such task. I shall continue to look closely at your discussions and hopefully do a splendid job!

Could you give us a brief description of the Brasiliana Steampunk series?

Certainly, my dear sir.

This is the work of a Brazilian University professor, who in his free time writes comics, short stories, novels and is a specialist in translating William Blake into Brazilian Portuguese.

One of his splendid stories is going to be released soon in the US but am not sure if I can post pictures here.

The series has already been released by Amazon Prime in Brazil, in Portuguese, and will soon be released in English and Spanish too.

The 8-episode series of 20-min animated zoetropic images feature the adventures and misadventures of a group of private detectives using the latest gadgets and technology at their hands, such as a special goggle set which reads fingerprints, to solve a series of crimes of a supernatural nature. The main characters form a certain League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Ladies paying homage to characters in Brazilian Literature.

The title in English will be Full Steam Punks!

in the meantime, can you inform the authors of the website http://brasilianasteampunk.com.br/
that
1) whilst it is a grand thing to have the website in their original language, they would get a MUCH wider audience
    if they were willing toi offer translations in other lkanguages ( such as english, french, and german)

I finally discovered thst the website will automatically switch to English for *me* but only using Google Chrome, in an unsecure mode.
while entertaining, it does not work with other browsers or secured browsers

2) an attempt to use the contact method on the website fails in all browsers
