The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.
''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.'' Extract of the Dreamflesh article ''Path of The Sacred Clown''

Was that St. Elsewhere? Probably. I never watched the series but I remember reading/hearing about the ending. A commentary by the cast about it here.

I never watched the whole thing, but according to wiki the last episode strongly suggests that the entire story around the hospital St. Elsewhere / St. Eligius is imagined by an autistic boy

This is uncharacteristically deep for a hollywierd series... and oddly disturbing...
sort of like the ending to "Soparanos"

Did Dallas end with J. R. getting shot? Or was that a season finale?

The only episode of Dallas that I ever saw, which was strictly by chance, btw, was the one in which the ninjas in tuxedos shot up the texas palace guard, and apparently killed everyone at the wedding. At least, that what it looked like to me.... yhs prof mumbles

Sorontar Both - us United Statsians don't get much in the way of British TV.... that has changed in recent years since we now are blessed with a vaiety of pirating methods streaming options... the wiki episode synopsis makes the plot (and the twists) look incredibly .... convoluted and complex... I shall have to give the show a try, it has to be better than brokedown palace downtown abbey ... yhs prof marvel

It was mocked in the season finale for "Newhart", which was much better.

"Blake's 7" is a late 70s "rebels against the state" scifi series, created by Terry Nation, the creator of the Daleks. Blake leads the rebels. The evil female lead, Servalan, looked more like someone who you meet in a seedy night club than a political figure. Mind you, that was pretty true for most of the lead characters. I think there are more fans of Avon, Blake's ambitious, self-centered 2IC of sorts, than Blake.
As for the final episode, let's just say that the story certainly came to a closure. I don't think it is possible to make a Blake's 7 sequel and satisfy the fans. It is one of those British shows that has a "cult" following.

Yep, wobbly scenery, sometimes bad green screen, occasionally scripts so terrible they make you want to whimper, (and occasionally so good they make you want to cheer). Loved every minute.
