The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Wiki

Louis William Wain (5 August 1860 – 4 July 1939) was an English artist best known for his drawings, which consistently featured anthropomorphized large-eyed cats and kittens. In his later years he may have suffered from schizophrenia (although this claim is disputed among specialists), which, according to some psychiatrists, can be seen in his works.

EDIT, I previously forwarded a theory linking Lewis Carroll's Cheshire Cat illustrated by John Tenniel who worked together with Wain in the 1880s. But in order for Tenniel to have been inspired by Wain's cats, Wain would have to be drawing cats at age 5 - that didn't happen. Cheshire was first illustrated by Tenniel in 1865, so there can't be any relation between Cheshire and Wain's cats.

Sorry, my autist ass assumed than either the  pic of the evolving art was well known or everybody shared my sens for the theatrical. Its not my fault if part 2 was yet to come . Was yet, because apparently one bloody day is all you had to wait.
