I've always thought of Quantum Computing as being Vicky Pollard computing - for those who have never seen the comedy programme "Little Britain", Vicky was a character who tried to justify herself by saying "Yes,but.. no, but.."  I sometimes wonder what Ada Lovelace would have thought of the idea.  Would she have placed a bet on its success?

Some of Tate's characters are very much the British Kath & Kim. She was wonderful as Donna Noble. Now imagine Dr Donna explaining about Quantum Steampunk... that would be something.
