March 27th is International Whisk(e)y Day, first observed in 2008 and written with parentheses to include both Scotch/Canadian/Japanese whisky and Irish/American whiskey. Since liquor stores are considered an essential service during the current lockdown, I'm sure a trip to restock would be considered essential business.

What a timely post! Whisky is easier to find than alcohol-based had cleanser at present, and you can lick it off afterwards!  Grin

Well what a co incidence - I went "Naughty" shopping with the lad today, the only spirits I could find was a desgusting Ballentine blend, best drowned in ginger beer, I wish it were a fine Island single year and cask one instead!

It'll be replaced by Hand Sanitizer Day, I'm sure. A local brewer in Austin (Tito's Vodka), advices people to not use Vodka as hand sanitizer, but due to the lack of supplies, has started making hand sanitizer.
