I bumped into this article online about a project started by an artist and designer Bernadette Sheridan who lives with a very particular kind of Synesthesia called Grapheme-color synesthesia, which means her brain “sees” letters and numbers as very specific colors. "Synesthesia Me" is a project that allows you to translate your name into a band of colours, which to me sort of look like the medal or ribbon boards worn by military officers.

I was wondering, since we always have the argument about the propriety of wearing military honours and badges in our Steampunk uniforms, whether we could resort to this online program as a useful tool!

At least yours is colorful.
My real name, my real middle name, my SP name (Millicent) and my Screen name/avatar (Deimos) are all boringly bland, or even blandly boring. "i" is white  and there is at least one "i" in all my names. Double letters produce the same color which is very unexciting to look at. And two of my names have double letters :-p

My first name has double letters, which gives me a double green, but the rest are ok!

Yeah - way too many greens in my name.
Unfortunately, our family tartan is Blackwatch, which I don't really care for. Too much green.

Oh that's right! You commented on the green of the family tartan! You keep getting hounded by the color green!  Shocked  It must be a curse!  Grin  I take it you'd not be interested in my Green Mole recipe at anatomical?  Roll Eyes
