Here A Short Story Inspired By A Dream I Made This Night.

The Carnival Of St-Gideon

Born in 1855, Blanche Leblanc was known across the little quebecois towm of St-Gideon as a con artist and a fraudster. It would be hovewer for a slightly more honest scheme she would enter the town’s legends. One summer morning of 1900, the St-Gideon inhabitants woke up to see than a new pebble road has been made, accompanied of a arrow pointing it as the path to a place dubbed « Le Carnavale De St-Gideon ». At the end of the road was a circular building, inside of it was Blanche, her old accomplice Marcel Demers and a couple of her young nephews and nieces ,sit on a round table interceded by mirrors, eating a feast of potatoes gratin. Hovewer, the mirrors was placed so than depending of the view angle, the table may seem to the visitors populated solely of doppelgängers of a single guest, only have Blanche and Marcel, the childrens only, miss a single guest, only have a single guest, etc, etc. Infortunately, most visitors was either terrified or outraged by this surreal parody of a family dinner. But History whiles eventually do justice to Blanche’s creation and even today you can find emulate of the Carnavale De St-Gideon across the world.

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''
