Must be something in the field of mathematics and physics (and archaeology) - quite a few live to a grand age! Arthur ApSimon - (1927–2019) He was 91. Like Isobel Smith, Arthur was research assistant to Gordon Childe in London. He went to Queen’s University Belfast, then to the new Department of Archaeology in Southampton. A bit late, but I only heard about his passing just recently

There a branch or 2 here in NZ . It was big in the 80s. I knew a few young ladies who attended classes during school holidays. Theyy all got portfolios at the end of the course it was a great encouragement to the tall girls . A couple of them went on to do a little modeling work.

Boris Zavgorodny died that night...
Boris Zavgorodny (Volgograd, Russia) is a Russian writer, fan movement activist, and journalist. During his life, Boris Zavgorodny changed many professions: he was a Turner, sharpener, cinnabar maker, janitor, tour guide, waiter, plumber, literary agent, Shuttle merchant, and even a publisher.
Known around the world as "Soviet fan #1" (since the first of the Russian fans of science fiction was in the international directory "Fandom Directory"). Permanent Chairman of the Volgograd KLF "Wind of time". One of the organizers of the "Great Ring" fan award. Participated in the publication of many fanzines, including "Humpty Dumpty", which was recognized as the best fanzine in Europe at the end of "EuroCon-2006".
Organized a fandom of Volgograd, visited almost all the conventions of Russia and visited the conventions of Bulgaria, Hungary, and San Marino. Held in 1991 "Volgakon", one of the most famous conventions of our country.
Winner of the "Small wanderer" award -1994 as "a man-legend of Russian fandom". Winner of the "Star of fandom" prize.
As a publisher, he released several short-run book series, which saw the light of the debut books of young Russian science fiction writers, as well as the anthology "Cyberpunk on the Volga" (stories by Bruce Sterling and Paul Di Filippo). In 1995, he was the Executive Secretary of the literary award "wanderer", awarded at the Congress of science Fiction writers of Russia.
In 2000, Boris Zavgorodny co-authored with Sergey Zaitsev a fantastic novel "rosy square, original".
In 2002, a book about Boris Zavgorodny was published — "And this is all about him..."(comp. S. Melikhova).

Maybe something like "The Original Red Square"? (Red Square is the English name for the parade square in front of the Kremlin.)

No. Rosh Primary, this is a reference to very ancient times. Slavic tribes, the first princes. There is a film based on a historical novel - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primary_Russia. in the original "Rush Primary" (as far as I know the transliteration, there is a soft s at the end). In the book Rosh, one of the variants, and in Russian it is consonant with the dew. Well, in a square, just square. This square inserted in the middle of the name gives the name a mystery.

"The Avengers" will never be the same. By the time I discovered "The Avengers" Diana Rigg had already replaced Honor Blackman. So, for me, there is no one else who ever was, or could be, Steed's partner. When I later saw the re-run episodes with Honor Blackman I couldn't get used to that. And when Diana Rigg left the series, I stopped watching it.
