Just checking with a friend, waiting for an email reply - should be well and truly ok, as he lives in New Plymouth, but the dust & ash could be a problem as he has a recent diagnosis of lung cancer (again!)

Well, he has beaten everything thrown at him so far, so one hopes for the best! Email this morning, all ok with him, wonders why people must walk around inside the crater of active volcanos, especially 'just to have a look'!
