Scientists have figured out how to make fake rhino horn that might eventually pass for the real thing, and flood the market to ruin the poaching industry:

There's one particular use for rhino horn that the imitation won't work for, but I'm having trouble finding sympathy for those people.

If you're thinking of the same use I'm thinking of (you pervert!) I suspect the imitation horn would be exactly as effective as the real thing.
