Queen Victoria as you've never seen her before

Quote
High-quality film of Queen Victoria on her last trip to Ireland has been rediscovered.

The footage was taken a year before she died.

The monarch can be seen smiling and nodding. We can even see that she's wearing sunglasses.

Oh...my old war wound? I got that at The Battle of Dorking. Very nasty affair that was, I can tell you.

The Ministry of Tea respectfully advises you to drink one cup of tea day...for that +5 Moral Fibre stat.

We have been rather spoilt with Victoriana in the wake of the 200th anniversary; did you catch the first episode of 'Victorian Sensations' on the Beeb last Wednesday? Any programme that kicks off with Nicola Tesla has to be worth look  Smiley.

Yours,
Miranda.

I recorded it but haven't had a chance to watch yet, and the next episode is on tomorrow so I may have to record that too.
