 from the back of a clock I still had a nice piece of oak, which has now been transformed into a wall shelf

Very nice! I do like a bit of woodwork smothered in brass and copper

As a side question, do you do this for yourself, your own home or are these a commercial project?

Everything I make is for me, just wondering.

 I also keep everything to myself, I like to make things, but find it difficult to sell because everything is unique and I usually can not make a second one if I regret a sale. Grin
