It's not 2019 here yet, but it must be somewhere in the world.

My sister, my father and I will be attempting to establish the tradition of having fresh lobster on New Year's Eve. Anyone else done/doing anything interesting?

Not particularly interesting, but tonight we're having an Italian themed New Year's Eve meal for no better reason than we like Italian food. Now tomorrow, that's when all the planning starts for the splendid range of Steampunk events of 2019  Cheesy.

A very happy 2019 to all here; here's hoping its a good one.

Yours,
Miranda.

I may have "people" in this image. My mother's folks were from this very small part of the world

Happy New Year!

Hope it is better than 2018.

I am hanging out for 2020 - so easy to write and remember!

Four minutes away from 2019, and not a minute too soon. May the new year bring prosperity to all of you! For my part, I will try to be bold and bring about a quantum change to my life path. *Raises glass * a toast to the New Year!

Interesting fact:

I respectfully disagree. There are strong indications that at least in the United States, a sizable percentage of the population is living in 1956

I laughed, Wilhelm, but kind-of sadly because it’s true. I fear the numbers of Australians who also live in 1956 is also increasing...
