Not the end of the world, DarkStar!
I dislike tea intensely, and survived to pensionable age - coffee is also steampunk acceptable, as is chocolate, so there are compromises!

Not liking tea? Oh dear! This is certainly a problem... what shall she drink at social outings or on quiet afternoons?

Perhaps you could play around with different types. It took me a few years to realize that I only liked tea if it was hot, dark, unsweetened, and with just a little milk. If you have a cafe that serves different types of tea, maybe you could try them out! You might both find something unexpected that you like.

But seeing as tea isn't to everyone's taste, perhaps you could check the Anatomical board for tasty alternative steampunk/Victorian beverages, if that's what you're looking for.

All is not lost. Does she like absinthe?
If she dislikes both tea and absinthe, well, you might try exorcism...

Graduatly water down coffee until it's the same color as tea.
Then replace this with tea.  Grin

I rather like Long Island Iced Tea... Surely she wouldn't object to drinking that?

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

there are plenty of types of tea, and not all are as tasty... as suggested above, try multiple! and if she still doesn't like it...well...
give her something else to drink.

Try introducing her to spiced Chai; brew it very strong, so she can get her caffeine fix.
