Hi,

I have a document box originally belonging to a "Kriegslok" class 52.
The loco ID is 52 768
It had been re-numbered 52 768-9 and later ty2 1217

I found a polish website stating its original running number:
http://www.forumkolejowe.pl/ilostan/index.php?nav=lok&typ=9&seria=220&lok=8087&numer=1217&title=Ty2-1217

Could anyone translate the relevant facts for me?

If that loco still exists I would be grateful to find out where.

Good day

Why not use an online translator? I use the built-in Yandex browser. Good results.

Year of manufacture - 1944
Old train - 74
Status - deleted (scrapped).

Then comes the track list:

released in 1944 and worked in Germany for DRB.
in 1945, fell into Soviet captivity and worked at MPS (if properly think about the acronym: MPS = Ministry of Railways).
in 1964 already found on the Railways of Poland is PKP.

In Poland, he was assigned to the next train depot: Warszawa Praga MD and MD Małaszewicze.

In 1952 received a new number: TE-768.

Like the date of breaking - 1988-09-12

I hope the Polish comrades will clarify and correct me.

Sorry for the errors, rudeness and stupidity. It's not me, this online translator. Really convenient?
