A...pink keychain? I don't know what the french says though. Well my French isn't up to much but, "I am a woman with arse" seems to be the gist of it. Ok not exactly Steampunk, but I don't see anything wrong with producing a brass knob of this shape, The phallus has been depicted in various forms since ancient times, Cerne Abbas Giant being a fine example, so why not? I remember (repeatedly) seeing one of these in a shop window in Dorchester on holiday as a teenager. Needless to say there was always a quiet tittering... [/quote] Goggle translate gives: "I am a grandmother who ripped" I have no idea what she 'ripped'....

Her steampunk dress? Maybe? Only explanation. Have a chair Apparently, there's someone out there who thinks amoebas are Steampunk: Amoeba Steampunk spinner: https://www.pinterest.se/pin/417145984205687133But wait a minute! It gets much much worse. The factory that is making the chairs you posted above is claiming that this particular model is Steampunk. Apparently each colour for this chair model has a name. A sickly yellow chair is called Dijon. The brown leatherette is called "Steampunk." Besides brown faux leather, the chair features imitation riveted aluminium in the back. It's the rivets and the leather that make it Steampunk see? Read this page: https://www.kardiel.com/amoeba-steampunk-chair-brown-leatherette/Excerpt from the page above: Amoeba Modern Steampunk Chair The Amoeba was originally designed in 1958 for use throughout the Amsterdam Royal Hotel, designed by the same architect. The Amoeba is an example of a classic furniture design inspired by the movement to adapt organic forms into our interior spaces. An iconic piece with its minimal, simple and distinctly “Danish" design. Its creation is taken from respect of the dimensions, the angles, the pitch and curve wrap of the original design.
Limited Edition Steampunk Mid Century Modern meets late 19th century garb. Add in the feel of early 20th century industrial revolution with clunky steam engines chugging away in the background. Flying airships, metallic surfaces with bold chunky rivets and exposed gears. These conjure up the feeling of the industrial steampunk era, philosophy and design. Kardiel offers the premier reproduction inspired by exacting detail to the original Amoeba Chair. All this chair will cost you is a paltry $1099 USD. Even a Steampunk can afford that

What even are those supposed to be Also....i think "modern" and "steampunk" shouldn't be featured in the same description. I did find some more More of a viking thing if you ask me Still pretty though. (Skeleton in) a hat with a fancy font: instant steampunk Some random old keys. Not even THAT old that they might be mistaken for victorian. Random octopi aren't very surprising anymore. Uh....kinky.... Car parts. Aint getting more steampunk than that.

Who wants more? Me. I'm having way too much fun The next three might be on the edge of "but it could be used...." so they might be less funny? Let me know if you want the dutch translated. And this one, which is a copper top hat with a clockface. The theory sounds like it could be steampunk.... the execution however seems a bit lacking...

I was expecting them not being allowed (to wear. Not to actually use. I would like to keep my eyes, so i will use my safety glasses). But my classmate was allowed to keep his cap on so i still think it's kinda unfair.

Imagine the bowler hat catching fire from a Bunsen burner or falling on top of some beakers during the middle of a titration or somesuch. In any case, IMHO hats are meant to be worn outside, not indoors, actually, to follow Victorian Era convention. Only contemporary people wear caps and hats indoor (e.g. cowboy hats in a church wedding in Texas and baseball caps in malls - basically bad form from present day ignorant people not knowing the proper usage of the article...

Imagine someone showing up to a steampunk themed party with this on. This is none of the things it is described as. Granted, might be a mistake in their website Does the hippo tell the time? Hopefully this is not a full sized hippo. The shipping charges would be terrible! Putting a full size hippo in your pocket doesn't sound like a good idea either Maybe it's a Micro-hippo? A micro hippo bred by a mad aristocrat with too much time on their hands and an excess of hippos actually sounds like it could make its way into a steampunk story or two Canada has had them for years.
