Hello there - I am interested in using a photo I found ( which led me to the group ) for a Conference I am putting together for 2018 - how do I get permission to use such photo and/or make an alteration to it for a date change etc? Thanks in windows_10_theme___desktop_portion_01_by_yereverluvinuncleber-d9nrzw9.jpg

Your first point of contact would probably a PM to the member - Yereverluvinunclebert.

As a new member, you presumably don't have PM access, so if I may, I'll send him one to look in on this thread and consider your request.

Edit: PM sent.

Well, sort of but not really.

I created a new face from scratch, one that doesn't really exist. All created from components using photoshop.

The U-boat isn't a brand in any case, it is the name of a style range. Nothing about that watch is real, although it looks it. U-boat is a term that can't be copyrighted/trademarked as it is general use.

The widget is good advertising for them and its use in an image can easily replaced with another more or less identical - see my panzer widget clock which is fundamentally the same face with an extra dial and the various components moved about.

Once again, it isn't a real clock image, it is has been hand-crafted digitally but it looks like it is real and on your desktop it operates like the real thing (if the real thing actually ever existed, which it never has).
