Witch dunking or a least some kind of Cucking stool, no?, OK just a thought.......... I want to see the knobbly knees and gurning contests brought back to the forefront of every event, Steampunk or not.

"Witch dunking"!?! I fear that would come back to haunt you. No pun intended as witches usually don't pun.

Movie room; it isn't too difficult to come up with 48 to 72 hours of steampunk video. If you run short, you can pad it out with TV episodes.
Food. For one of my (non-steampunk) events, I was contacted by a couple of young entrepreneurs who wanted to publicize their new venture by providing an assortment of unusual cupcakes. You could have a tea table or even room at your event depending on the scale.

Music and shopping are my main reasons to go to events, if I'm honest. But here's some other things i enjoy: photo opportunities/ photo boot, a "lounce" to meet with friends and workshops

'How-to' and instructional talks/workshops, an exhibition of steampunk art, promenading; but for me the big thing about steampunk events and outings is socialising with friends and making new ones.
