Don't take this the wrong way but I've never heard of you before, which I find troubling as a Kiwi myself.
No worries. You wouldn't have heard of me. I've been writing for years but this is my first real success. As I allude to in the article I've always had an interest in Victorian magicians but this novel was my first foray into steampunk. I have fallen in love with the genre and I am about 30,000 words into my new novel which is also steampunk. I'm off to the festival at Oamaru this year where I am running a writing workshop, and I'm hoping to get to Thames and some of the other events around NZ.
My book, The Traitor and the Thief, is released in NZ and Australia in August 2017.
I would be delighted if you did read it and would welcome any feedback because I feel I still have much to learn.
Whereabouts in NZ are you?
Thanks,
Noir Magus a.k.a. Gareth Ward
