Motion Clocks

I was watching an ad for a fancy clock shop in one of those eclectic shopping neighborhoods set in an old downtown area here and was fascinated with the Motion Clock.

There are quite few styles and various websites list them anywhere from the $400's USA to the $180's USA for the same styles.
I also got sidetracked by the Trebuchet Clock and some of it's companions in the related videos. Yumm-O!

Both fascinating clocks, however most clocks can replicate the Motion Clocks display if you consume enough wine before looking at them.

My mom has
this
one from the same outfit. It's pretty cool, as far as electonic plastic clocks go. It plays several different tunes from movies, and (thankfully) has a light sensor so it shuts up at night. It's still cool to check out when I'm visiting though.
