Excellent Toy Gun
« on: July 21, 2016, 12:38:16 pm »
Saw this about a week ago at a Dollar General (haven't seen it on the forum before) and thought it might be of interest to those wanting to "steam" a toy gun:

It's an acceptable size for my hand and a good price.

Have you never wondered what it would be like to walk between the ticks and tocks of Time?

It would be a good start for customization; remove the orange caps, fill in the channels on the sides of the hammer and trigger, etc. Finish to look like metal.

That's what I thought; fairly simple modifications and dirt cheap  ;D

Looks a bit like an 1850's 'Volcanic' pistol.

I like it and may have to find one. All the Western type pistols I find re all child sized. :/

Yeah, that's why I wanted to point this one out; I have the same problem.  Although this one is still a bit smaller than I would like, I think it is a good size for most adult hands and is even a little big for my wife's hands.

Egads! That is impressive! I am tempted to get one in order to duplicate it in metal!
