It is definately a step up over Adventure Game Toolkit. I like the idea, but I've never been able to find the focus to do the planning needed to make an Inform game that's up to the standards I would want in an IF game.
That is so true, I managed to get a test version working, but when I sit down and start planning, its gets complicated and detailed very fast.
The best part about inform though? Parsers. Parsers EVERYWHERE and for Every OS.
