'Tis not Armistice Day yet over here, but still we remember.

May I ask what the third "11" refers to?

Twas at 11a.m. on 11 November.

They gave their futures for ours.
May we both remember their lives sacrificed and make ours worthy of it.

When you go home, tell them of us and say
"For their tomorrow, we gave our today".

It was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

And we get a single cannon shot every year at 11am where I live, just to remind you.

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Violence and war are never the best solutions to a conflict, but the world is imperfect and such things are sometimes necessary.

Whatever might have been done differently, we should never be less than eternally grateful to those who gave up their lives so their fellow human beings can live today in peace.
