I was quite disappointed actually. The comic lacked any solid female characters that weren't a pastiche. Then there was cog centre stage, I thought cool! female fixer that's good. Then it turned out to be a bloke.
There is a certain naivety in the "all male" way of writing a work such as this. Although I'm not adversed to the idea of pretty boys. A multiplicity of characters would be preferable to just blatant gay eye candy. He is very very pretty isn't he?
Maybe it's a "redressing the heterosexual bias" comic. He's certainly innocent and clueless enough to be fodder. And remember he did get a nasty pointy rod of raw purple magic in him from that mysterious blonde. And the relationships are getting quite intense early on.
Maybe this comic is fruiting under the radar. If so silver linings and how utterly delicious.
