In Monaco (as I'm sure you're aware) the valets keep the car of the newest guest out front until something more impressive turns up. So the challenge was to see if they could find a car that would be put out front when they checked in, and was still there when they checked out the following morning.
So they took the Model T as they were certain not one of the valets would know how to start, let alone drive, the thing. They were dead right!
