Instructions for driving a Model-T.

It seems complication, but I have heard stories of people buying these cars at the dealership and, after a few minutes of instruction from the salesman, driving them home without any major incident.

They could be a lot more complicated, and the instructions could be that bit more difficult.

Incidentally Top Gear took a Model T to a hotel in Monaco as part of a challenge.  In Monaco (as I'm sure you're aware) the valets keep the car of the newest guest out front until something more impressive turns up.  So the challenge was to see if they could find a car that would be put out front when they checked in, and was still there when they checked out the following morning.

So they took the Model T as they were certain not one of the valets would know how to start, let alone drive, the thing.  They were dead right!

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.
