Well of course because loosing all your head hair turns you into some form of effeminate maybe doesn't it?

Michigan Senator Carl Levin. I remember seeing video of him visiting sailors on a carrier in the Persian Gulf. The wind flipped his hair the the side and it went halfway to his belt. He would have looked younger and more vital without the combover.

As I seem to have developed more forehead over the past few years I wear hats often.

My long-term plan is to let my moustache grow long enough to bring up behind my ears and arrange artistically atop my scalp.

Reinforcing my previous point. If the hair is going and the options are desperately try and cover it or take the lot off and look like you could kill everyone in the room because your indistinguishable from a bare fist fighter.

Well, I know which one I'm going for.

Futile efforts such as comb-overs or attempts to appear "young" are a form of denial suggesting an individuals' dissatisfaction with themselves, not to mention transparent and , well, sad .

I contend that one should be proud of who they are, what they are, and of their age , just as they can be proud of their achievements.  I submit that less hair is better than that:

Regarding "youthful appearance" - an Elder once told me " I am proud of the wrinkles on my face! I earned every one of them!"
